Terms & Condition


The rental commencement is the day your item is delivered to your local drop off point or your home address.

The term expires the date you drop off your parcel at a DPD drop off point or get it collected from your home address – basically as soon as it’s in DPD’s possession and not yours!

If the item rented is not returned on or before the expected return date, EcoSki reserves the right to charge the Lessee additional rent for the extra time the items were in transit.


We kindly ask that you return your items as efficiently and timely as we delivered to you.

In order to ensure no additional fees are applied, DPD must have received your returned items on the final date of your rental.

Any delays in returning your items may impact future customers and could incur additional costs at your end.

We do of course factor in some leeway in between rentals to allow for any unforeseen problems such as lost luggage or delayed crossings. Please email us at [email protected] if you think your items are going to be delayed so we can sort logistics at our end.

There is no need to clean any of the kit – the cleaning and re-proofing is all included in the price of your rental (hooray to no ski holiday washing!)

Please use the free enclosed returns label, which you will find at the bottom of your package, to return your items. Either re-use the packaging your items were sent in or re-use some old bags you have at home - don’t worry if they’re plastic - we re-use and recycle all our packaging end of life.

If you lose your shipping label (it happens) please email [email protected] with the subject title “missing shipping label for order xxx” and we will email you a replacement.

You can find your local DPD Drop off point here and/or arrange for collection from your home address if you’d prefer.&

We ask that you obtain and retain the DPD shipping receipt for all return shipping . In the unlikely event an item goes missing with DPD at least you then have proof that it was handed over to them and responsibility then lies with them, not you.

How do I know that item/s will fit?

If you aren’t sure whether the items you’ve ordered will fit then please do get in touch with us prior to delivery of your rental. We will happily help with sizing if you send us your measurements. We can also, subject to availability, send out items early for a try on. And if time permits we can send a replacement size to exchange before you head off on your hols.

We are here to help. We want you to be happy with your chosen items and we take pride in the way you look and feel in our kit.

EcoSki (the Lessor) represents and warrants as follows:

  1. the Equipment is free from known defects and, although used, is in good working order to the best of its knowledge at the inception of the rental;
  2. Lessor is responsible for routine repair and maintenance of the equipment/items prior to rental.

You (the Lessee) agrees as follows:

  1. the Equipment is rented to the Lessee without any warranty or guarantee of any kind, express or implied;
  2. the Lessee is responsible for all costs associated with any additional repair or replacement of the equipment necessitated as a result of misuse. Basic repairs and general wear and tear are covered/included in the rental price.



The Lessee acknowledges that the equipment/items may be used gear and may have slight cosmetic flaws. EcoSki does however warrant that the items, whether new or used, will be in proper working condition when leased to you. In the unlikely event that an item, as received, is not working properly, please notify us asap so a replacement or refund can be issued.


In the unlikely event a product rental rate is listed incorrectly due to errors in pricing information, EcoSki has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect rate whether or not your credit card has been charged. Should EcoSki cancel the order, your account will be refunded for the incorrect amount paid asap.


Although EcoSki holds multiple items, there may be occasions when a customer is either late in returning their equipment and/or the items are in the cleaning/repairs system for longer than anticipated. On these occasions, EcoSki will contact the customer to offer an alternative item - usually of better quality as a gesture of goodwill. EcoSki will of course inform the customer if any replacement item is likely to be sent. Giving the customer the option to chose a different item and/or ask for a refund. We do however think this is unlikely to happen.


EcoSki use DPD for all their deliveries. As soon as your rental order has left our warehouse and is with DPD you will receive a text message and email confirming when your order will arrive. Please note this will come directly from DPD and not EcoSki so it’s important to keep an eye out for DPD messages. You will also have the option to amend your delivery to suit you. Of course if you have any concerns please do email us on [email protected] or message us via Instagram. Please don’t call as the phone lines aren’t always monitored. EcoSki will always aim to dispatch your item/s 1-2 days prior to your rental start date to allow for any unforeseen issues at your end. We encourage you to always book your rental commencement date for the day before you depart.


EcoSki charges a standard service fee of £8 per order to cover cleaning and insurance.


You may cancel an order at any point providing EcoSki has at least 48 hours prior notice before picking, packing and shipping the item. A full refund will be issued within 7 working days of cancellation. You may cancel an order once it has been shipped, but such cancellation will be subject to a full refund minus: 1 day rental rate + round trip shipping.


Your items will arrive with ribbons attached to the outside. Please do not remove these ribbons until you are confident you want to keep the items. We can send a replacement item out on a next day delivery service but please let us know before 12noon.


EcoSki has a policy to cover general wear and tear and will cover the cost of minor repair work. If however any item is damaged beyond this, EcoSki will discuss the damage with you and agree a plan of action. In extreme cases we will invoice you for the full cost of replacing the item.


EcoSki do not expect (nor want) you to carry out any repairs yourself. We also do not want you to alter the items to suit your own needs. Please do not take up or let down grow-with-me seams for example.


The items are deemed to be in your custody and control once they have been delivered. If you lose the items or damage them beyond repair we would expect your insurance to cover the cost of replacement.


We would expect you to notify EcoSki within 3 hours of receipt of any malfunction and/or alleged damage. Please do not attempt to repair or modify the equipment yourself. Please return the non-working equipment to EcoSki who will either replace the non-working equipment with a functioning equivalent or issue a credit or full refund of all rental charges paid.


These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Our failure to act on or enforce any provision of these Terms & conditions (ecoski.co.uk) shall not be construed as a waiver of that provision or any other provision in these Terms and Conditions. No waiver shall be effective against us unless made in writing, and no such waiver shall be construed as a waiver in any other or subsequent instance. Except as expressly agreed by us and you in writing, these Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the subject matter, and supersedes all previous or contemporaneous agreements, whether written or oral, between the parties with respect to the subject matter. The section headings are provided merely for convenience and shall not be given any legal import. This document (together with the documents it refers to) describes the terms and conditions for placing orders and on which we supply any items (the "Items") listed on ecoski.co.uk to you. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.

How to place an order

Once you have selected one of our Items in the shop section of ecoski.co.uk, you have to select the size, colour and enter the quantity that you wish to order. The selected Item(s) can then be transferred to your shopping cart by clicking on the "add to basket" button. You can either add more Items to you basket or proceed to the checkout by clicking on the "checkout" button located at the upper right corner of the page. You must then enter your delivery address and contact information as well as the delivery method of your choice. At this stage you can still remove or edit any Items stored in your basket. If different from the delivery address you can enter your billing address by unticking the "Use for my Billing Address" button. At this stage you can still remove or edit any Items stored in your shopping cart. The next page allows you to enter your payment information and check the order total. On this same page you can still edit your delivery and/or billing address, change the delivery method, or remove or edit the Items in your basket. Your order will be submitted at the time you press the "Place Order" button.

After placing an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the Items that you have selected on the basis of these terms and conditions. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that the Items have been dispatched (the "Order Shipping Confirmation"). The contract between you and us will only be formed when we send you the Order Shipping Confirmation (the "Contract").

The Contract will only relate to those Items whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Order Shipping Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other Items which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such Items has been confirmed in a separate Order Shipping Confirmation.

Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Order Shipping Confirmation, or if no date is specified, then within 30 days of the date of the Order Shipping Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

We do sell products for children, but do not allow children to directly purchase products, themselves, from ecoski.co.uk. We only sell products to adults, ages 18 years and older. All service and product orders are subject to our acceptance. Accordingly, we reserve the right to refuse service for transactions on ecoski.co.uk, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion, including, without limitation, if we believe that user conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the interests of Ecoski or its affiliates.


The product prices are as displayed on the Website, except in cases of obvious error.

The pricing currency is Pound Sterling.

The product prices displayed on the Website are inclusive of Value-Added Tax (VAT). The VAT rate can vary according to the EC intra-community rules in force. All prices are exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery charges are applied per order.

We reserve the right to modify prices on ecoski.co.uk at any time without notice. Changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent an Order Shipping Confirmation.

ecoski.co.uk contains a large number of Items and it is always possible, despite our best efforts, that some of the Items listed on ecoski.co.uk will be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedure so that, where the correct price of the Items is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Items to you. If the correct price of the Items is higher than the price stated on ecoski.co.uk, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Items, or reject the order and notify you of such rejection.

We are under no obligation to provide the Items to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an Order Shipping Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have been reasonably been recognized by you as mispricing.

Payments, payment security and transfer of title


Payment can be made by the payment methods as are indicated in the order process on ecoski.co.uk. You will pay all charges incurred by users of your credit card, debit card, or other payment method used in connection with a purchase or transaction or other monetary transaction interaction with EcoSki at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred. You will pay any applicable taxes, if any, relating to any such purchases, transactions or other monetary transaction interactions.


Your payment information is encrypted and will only be transmitted in a protected form over the internet. The payment is processed via the secured payment service of our partner vendors which conforms to required security standards.

Reservation of ownership

Ownership of the Items will only pass to you when we have received full payment of all sums due in respect of the Items, including delivery charges. All purchased Items are transported and delivered to you by an independent carrier not affiliated with, or controlled by us. The risk of ownership of Items is transferred to you on delivery.

Returns, cancellations and repairs

Returning an item

If the item you receive in the post isn’t quite what you expected you are welcome to return it.

We don’t want to set strict 14 or 28 day return policies. Instead we are putting our trust in you to return any unwanted items as quickly as we sent it to you. This way it ensures our stock room is kept as up to date as possible.

How to return or exchange an item

Please let us know if you are returning an item; here's how:

  • Mark the subject as RETURNSso we know it’s on its way back to us
  • Please re-use the original packaging
  • Pop a note inside with the original order number and reason for return

Although there is no set timeframe we request that you send any Item you don’t want to keep as quickly as possible. We don’t hold much stock and the item may risk never selling if it sits at home for weeks. Thank you.

How it works

If you have existing EcoSki branded kit you’d like to sell then simply send it to us (cleaned) and we’ll arrange for any repairs required.

We’ll then offer your items for sale via our EcoSki’d service on Instagram and give perfectly good ski kit a whole new lease of life.

You’ll either earn credit towards your next EcoSki purchase or you can trade them in for other quality items available through EcoSki’d.

Giving One Percent for the Planet

We will be donating at least 1% of the proceeds to our supported charities through One Percent for the Planet. If you would like to donate more (or all) of your sales revenue to charity, then EcoSki’d will happily match your contribution.

Charitable Auctions

We will be hosting regular auctions on our EcoSki’d Instagram account.

If you have a particularly special item that you wish to donate then please contact us through our website or social pages.

Chemmy Alcott and Dougie Crawford have already donated a large amount of their kit (including their Team GB strips!) to get the ball rolling – 100% of this will be donated to our charities, thank you so much Doug and Chemmy.

Guarantee and Liability

We guarantee everything we supply/sell. If you are not satisfied with one of our products at the time you receive it, or if one of our products does not perform to your satisfaction, return it to us for a repair, replacement or refund. Damage due to wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable charge.

Our liability in connection with any Items purchased through ecoski.co.uk is strictly limited to the purchase price of those Items. This does not include or limit in any way our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude our liability.

We accept no liability for any loss of income, revenue, loss of business, loss of profits or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.


EcoSki has made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on ecoski.co.uk. As the actual colours you see depend on your computer monitor or mobile device, however, we cannot guarantee and do not warrant that your monitor’s or device’s display of any colour will be accurate.

Written Communications

Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using ecoski.co.uk, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by email or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.


All notices given by you to us must be given to [email protected]. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when placing an order, or in any of the ways specified in the above paragraph. Notice will be deemed received and properly served immediately when posted on our website, 24 hours after an email is sent, or three days after the date of posting of any letter. In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that such letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email, that such email was sent to the specified email address of the addressee.

Transfer of Rights and Obligations

These terms and conditions are binding on you and us and on our respective successors and assigns. You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of a Contract or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent. We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of a Contract, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the Contract.


Registration as a user for access to certain areas on ecoski.co.uk or in connection with recurring visits or purchasing may require both a user name and a password or adherence to other particular access requirements as designated by us. Only one user can use one user name and password and, thus, one account. By limiting access, it helps avoid unauthorized usage by other persons, institutions, or entities because anyone with knowledge of both your user name and password can gain entry to the restricted portions of ecoski.co.uk and to your account.

Accordingly, by using ecoski.co.uk, you agree to consider your user name and password as confidential information and to keep your user name and password confidential. You will immediately notify us if you become aware of any loss or theft of your password or any unauthorized use of your user name and password. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations. We reserve the right to delete or change a user name or password at any time and for any reason. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing herein shall convey to you any further rights in your account or its information and any and all such content or information shall be subject to these terms and conditions.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms and conditions that are caused by events outside our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event").

A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following: strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport, impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks, and the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

Our performance of our obligations under these terms and conditions is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.


If we fail, at any time during the term of a Contract, to insist upon strict performance of any of your obligations under these terms and conditions, or if we fail to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled under these terms and conditions, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve you from compliance with such obligations. A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default. No waiver by us of any of these terms and conditions shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be a waiver and is communicated to you in writing in accordance with the methods specified above.


If any of these terms and conditions or any provisions of these terms and conditions are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between us in relation to the supply of Items from ecoski.co.uk and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between us, whether oral or in writing.

We each acknowledge that in agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions, neither of us has relied on any representation, undertaking or promise given by the other or from anything said or written in negotiations between us prior to such agreement except as expressly stated in these terms and conditions.

Neither of us shall have any remedy in respect of any untrue statement made by the other, whether orally or in writing, prior to the date of any order (unless such untrue statement was made fraudulently) and the other party’s only remedy shall be for breach of contract as provided in these terms and conditions.

Terms of Use and Terms and Conditions of Sale

In the event of a sale, the Terms and Conditions of Sale shall prevail. In case of conflict between the Terms of Use and the Terms and Conditions of Sale, the Terms and Conditions of Sale shall prevail.

Intellectual property rights

Your use of the EcoSki and its contents grants no rights to you in relation to any copyright, designs, trademarks and all other intellectual property and material rights relating to the Content (as described in the Content section below. All such Content including third party trademarks, designs, and related intellectual property rights mentioned or displayed on EcoSki are protected by national intellectual property and other laws and international treaty provisions. You are permitted to use the Content only as expressly authorized by EcoSki and/or its third party licensors. Any reproduction or redistribution of the above listed Content is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties. Without limiting the foregoing, copying and use of the above listed materials to any other server, location or support for publication, reproduction or distribution is expressly prohibited. However, you are permitted to make one copy for the purposes of viewing Content for your own personal use.


In addition to the Intellectual property rights mentioned above, "Content" is defined as any graphics, photographs, including all image rights, sounds, music, video, audio or text on this Site. EcoSki tries to ensure that the information on this site is accurate and complete.. EcoSki does not promise that the functional aspects of the Site or Content will be error free or that this Site, EcoSki Content or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. We always recommend that all users of the Internet ensure they have up to date virus checking software installed.

The personal opinions of the designers and labels whose products we sell, or any third parties with whom we are associated are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of EcoSki and we accept no responsibility for any such views expressed in any media.

Disclaimer of liability
