EcoSki partners with leading travel business Oxford Ski Company

EcoSki has partnered with the Oxford Ski Company as part of their effort to help customers make more sustainable choices when travelling and buying skiwear.

Oxford Ski Company is committed to tackling climate change and encouraging responsible travel and as well as working with EcoSki, they partner with Protect Our Winters (POW) UK and ClimateCare.

Oxford Ski recognises that everyone involved in the ski industry has a responsibility to take actions and make efforts to protect the future. They have committed to offsetting emissions generated from business operations — both domestic office and international travel — and to offsetting an average of 1.3 tonnes of CO2 for each ski holiday booked (based on a group of 10 travelling) through Oxford Ski.

Through their partnership with EcoSki, Oxford Ski offers clients who book a holiday a 15% discount on their next purchase at EcoSki.

Felix Hemsley, marketing manager of Oxford Ski, says: “Our partnership with EcoSki is an extension and reinforcement of our commitment to the playgrounds we have come to know and love for many generations, the mountains. There is no escaping the pressure which we face as a global community to protect our climates for the future, and with that, the slopes of resorts which support individuals and economies around the world.

“We have increasingly extended our eco position over recent years, including our partnership with EcoSki, which deserves to have the highest awareness for the efforts put into sourcing the most responsibly manufactured clothing and apparel, for a guilt free mountain experience. [EcoSki founder] Rachael Westbrook’s dedication and passion shines through in the authenticity and provenance which EcoSki embodies.”
