Norrona Lofoten Gore-Tex Shell or Partly Insulated Jacket

This iconic shell jacket is made for freeriding but works perfectly for general ski/snowboard activities on and off-slope. A waterproof, partly insulated or shell option ski/snowboard jacket. Please be sure to select the partly insulated or shell option when booking. The shell high spec jacket is designed for freeride skiing and we recommend having an insulated midlayer to add on colder days. The partly insulated option provides a bit more warmth in the torso and shoulders but remains thinner in the sleeves and back. There is no insulation in the hood or beneath the snow skirt, but is included it in the collar for added comfort. When ascending to those spectacular slopes, the underarm ventilation provides excellent airflow. The snow skirt will keep the snow out and can be quickly hidden thanks to the snap and fold button solution.

This insulated jacket is made for freeriding but works perfectly for general ski/snowboard activities on and off-slope during colder winter days. We use a GORE-TEX® face fabric, the world-leading membrane for highly durable waterproofness (28,000mm), great breathability, and total windproofness. It is insulated with premium, recycled Primaloft insulation which offers great warmth-to-weight values. It's insulated with a high-quality recycled Primaloft Silver filling distributed according to body mapping to pinpoint the proper insulation in the right place; The shoulders, elbows, and the front is 60g/m2, and the collar and back are 40g/m2. Key features include a helmet-compatible hood with one-hand adjustment, underarm ventilation, a snow skirt that can easily be hidden away thanks to a snap and fold solution, asymmetric cuffs, hand gaiters, hand warming pockets, chest pocket, goggle wipe, and an inside mesh pocket. The jacket has a regular Y-cut fit with articulated arms for optimal mobility and a longer cut in the back for extra protection.
